Local planning policies (LPPs) are an important and commonly used planning instrument that may be prepared in respect of any matter related to the planning and development of the Shire of Irwin. LPPs are matters for which the decision-maker must have ‘due regard’ and they guide the decision-makers exercise of discretion when making a determination on a planning proposal.
