Community Update on the 2021 Foreshore Masterplan
Please be advised that the 2021 Foreshore Masterplan, while still publicly accessible on our website, represents an earlier conceptual document. This version is not the masterplan currently informing the Shire’s work or the plans that will be presented to the community on 9 December.
Since 2021, the Foreshore Masterplan has been significantly updated, informed by extensive community feedback and engagement undertaken over several years. The earlier 2021 concept provided a foundation for funding applications and helped shape community discussion, but it does not represent the final plans now being considered.
Community members are invited to view the current 2025 Foreshore Masterplan being presented for the Foreshore Redevelopment Project at the upcoming Community Engagement Sessions on 9 December, where the latest plans will be presented with an opportunity to discuss with staff, council and consultants.
Tuesday, 9th December
Session 1: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Session 2: 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Irwin Recreation Centre – Ocean Room
Can’t attend? All the information from the engagement sessions including the design presented, will be made available online from 9th Dec – visit www.irwin.wa.gov.au
We look forward to sharing the updated vision and continuing to work together on this important project.
