The Port Denison Foreshore is a popular backdrop for wedding ceremonies and private functions. Please notify the Shire of your intent to hold a function on the foreshore and allow us to work with you to make your day a success.

TOWN PARK
Town Park is located on the corner of Hosken and Smith Streets and is a fantastic place for a picnic with a great playground for the kids, plenty of lush green grass, a gazebo, and shaded areas to sit.
The Monthly Markets are held at Town Park on the first Saturday of every month. Enjoy the entertainment, grab a coffee, or treat to eat, all while browsing the stalls full of local produce.
Waldeck Street, Dongara
CRICKET OVAL & PAVILION
The Town Cricket Oval & Pavilion is situated on Waldeck Street, Dongara. This is home to both the Dongara Cricket Club and the Dongara VETS Football Club.
For social sporting events, the Cricket Pavilion and its amenities offer spectators and participants a place to relax and enjoy the games under the Moreton Bay Fig trees that adorn one side of the ground. Finish off the day with a BBQ and refreshments.
