The following alert has been issued by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES).

Please note this warning has upgraded to an Emergency Warning – Leave Now as wind changes are forecasted, with increased fire behaviour and potential for fire to break containment lines. A community meeting will be held at the evacuation centre at Irwin Recreation Centre in Port Denison at 4pm today. Residents in Springfield Drive, Kailis Drive and Bottlebrush Cove are advised that back burning operations will be taking place and may produce smoke.
